Doctoral School of Science, Technology and Engineering
The Chemistry, Engineering and Applications Doctoral Training Unit (CIA) belongs to the Doctoral School of Science, Technology and Engineering. It was set up by Decision No. 2023/932 of 6 December 2023 restructuring the DTUs.
Co-accredited schools and faculties, as listed in the call for applications of 16 September 2025: FS, ENSAI, IUT, EGCIM.
The DTU has a Coordinator, a Steering Committee, programme leaders for research Master’s degrees and programme leaders for doctorates (Decision No. 036-2025, Art. 12).
Missions
Under Article 11 of Decision No. 036-2025 of 2 December 2025, the Doctoral Training Unit is responsible for:
- proposing, within its Doctoral School, Master’s and doctoral programmes organised under the LMD system by field, major, track and specialisation or option;
- taking part in research-based teaching and supervision;
- organising scientific exchanges between doctoral candidates and the scientific community;
- fostering teaching activities and the management of training programmes;
- monitoring and improving the working and supervision conditions of Master’s students and doctoral candidates;
- ensuring a quality approach to training;
- organising internships, seminars, workshops and scientific days.
