THE RECTOR VISITS THE CONSTRUCTION SITE FOR THE FACULTY OF SCIENCES’ LABORATORIES AND OFFICES

On October 5th 2026, the Rector of the University of Ngaoundéré, Professor MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, carried out an inspection visit to the construction site for the laboratories and that of lecturers of the Faculty of Science. He was accompanied on this occasion by several of his close collaborators.

This visit is in accordance with the follow up of the University infrastructure which has to reflect the commitment of the head of the university and to ensure that works designed to improve teaching conditions and the academic environment for students are completed as soon as possible.
The massive construction work on this building is now entering a new phase.
Initially entrusted to the company SOMAF, the finishing works have been handed to the ZAKAR ET FILS company.

The company has five months to successfully complete the finishing works, namely the laying of floor tiles, rendering, pipework and the installation of service ducts.

By the end of the five-month, the building should look impressive. Following the site visit, the Rector of the University of Ngaoundéré, Professor MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, on behalf of the entire university community, expressed his sincere thanks to the government, which is sparing no effort to expand the infrastructure at the University of Ngaoundéré.
