The Rector of The University of Ngaoundéré, Prof. MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, and the UNICEF Cameroon representative, Nadine PERRAULT, have just signed a cooperation agreement between the two entities. This agreement covers co-creation focused on training and evidence generation on issues relating to children’s rights.
To carry out this agreement, the heads of the Departments of Sociology, Anthropology and Communication of the State Universities of Cameroon and of the Catholic University of Central Africa, as well as senior government officials in charge of children’s rights issues, were involved in this initiative.
The agreement, signed on 16 July 2024 in Yaoundé by Professor MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI and Nadine PERRAULT, forms part of the 2022-2026 programme. This programme, signed between the Government of Cameroon and UNICEF, focuses on strengthening national capacities and generating evidence to accelerate the achievement of results for children.
