Celebration of National Youth Day at The University of Ngaoundéré: A Vibrant Tribute to Cameroonian Youth

The 58th edition of National Youth Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at The University of Ngaoundéré. Under the captivating theme « Youth, Import Substitution and Economic Patriotism for the Progress of Cameroon », this ceremony was marked by the distinguished presence of the Rector, Professor Mamoudou Abdoulmoumini, and numerous members of the university community. This event was an opportunity to pay tribute to the vitality, commitment and dynamism of Cameroonian youth.

The Rector of The University of Ngaoundéré, accompanied by his collaborators, honoured this memorable day with his presence. The heads of institutions, directors, heads of divisions, heads of central services as well as the University’s support staff also answered the call, thereby demonstrating their unwavering support for the institution’s students.

The celebration took place in an atmosphere of solemnity and pride on the stage of Doumbe Oumar Stadium. Students from the 10 institutions of The University of Ngaoundéré marched with energy and enthusiasm, offering a colourful spectacle. The inspiring speeches of the Rector and other dignitaries underlined the importance of youth in the economic and social development of Cameroon.

This 58th edition of National Youth Day will remain etched in memories as a vibrant tribute to Cameroonian youth. The University of Ngaoundéré has once again demonstrated its commitment to the fulfilment and empowerment of youth, while actively contributing to the progress of the country.
