Installation Ceremony for the New Heads of Divisions, Heads of Departments and Heads of Services at The University of Ngaoundéré

On 10 October 2023, The University of Ngaoundéré was the setting for a solemn installation ceremony for the newly appointed officials. These appointments follow Order No. 230017/MINESUP of 29 September 2023, signed by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Chancellor of Academic Orders. These officials will take charge of the leadership of the ten institutions that make up The University of Ngaoundéré, including five schools and five faculties.

The ceremony was held under the direction of the Rector of the University, Professor MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI. He personally presided over the installation of these new officials, thereby vesting them with the duties of Head of Division, Head of Department and Head of Service. The Rector emphasised the great responsibility resting on their shoulders, stressing the sense of duty, work well done, and commitment to serving the nation.

He also encouraged collaboration, respect for regulations, and the importance of giving priority to the general interest for the development of this prestigious institution. The installation of these new officials further strengthens the management team of The University of Ngaoundéré, which is ready to meet the challenges of higher education in Cameroon.
