Installation Ceremony: The New Officials of the DIPD, DAAF and the Directorate of ENSAI at The University of Ngaoundéré

On 10 October 2023, The University of Ngaoundéré witnessed an installation ceremony marked by solemnity and deep significance, formalising the appointment of officials recently named by Presidential Decree No. 2023/386 of 30 August 2023. This ceremony saw the new leaders take up their duties, each bringing unique experience and expertise.

Directorate of Infrastructure, Planning and Development (DIPD):

Mr NDONGO Jean Alex, a Water and Environmental Engineer graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics in Yaoundé, has served The University of Ngaoundéré for over a decade. He is praised for his exemplary conduct, his rigour at work and his sense of responsibility. With his experience, he is well prepared to oversee ongoing construction projects and ensure the quality of works within the university. The Rector, Professor MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, reminded him of the weight of his mission and the importance of regular inspections and expert assessment of the works.

Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs (DAAF):

Mr OUMAROU Emmanuel, Inspector of Social Affairs, previously held the position of DAAF. His experience in this role is a major asset. The Rector, Professor MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, reminded him of the importance of his mission, stressing duty, responsibility and prudent financial management to avoid any mismanagement.

École Nationale Supérieure de Sciences Agro-Industrielles (ENSAI):

Mr EJOH ABA Richard, an eminent Professor, is a pioneer in the field of applied nutrition science. He has to his credit nearly 80 publications and more than 854 citations, and his expertise is recognised in the academic world. With a career that has taken him to major universities in Cameroon and abroad, he is well prepared to lead ENSAI. The Rector emphasised that ENSAI is well equipped in terms of equipment, resources, infrastructure and staff, ready to take on new challenges.

The installation ceremony strengthened the management team of The University of Ngaoundéré. The new officials took up their duties with renewed commitment to academic excellence and institutional progress. They embody the promising future of this higher education institution.
