The Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, has signed Order No. 24/01109/MINESUP of 27 June 2024, establishing new departments within the School of Chemical Engineering and Mineral Industries (EGCIM) of The University of Ngaoundéré.
The New Departments Created 🏛️
Article 1: With effect from the date of signature of this order, the following departments are created within the School of Chemical Engineering and Mineral Industries of The University of Ngaoundéré:
- Department of Materials Engineering 🏭
- Department of Robotics and Industrial Computing 🤖💻
- Department of Energy Engineering 🔋
- Department of Environmental Engineering and Quality Control 🌱🔬
A Significant Advance for The University of Ngaoundéré 📈
This initiative marks an important step in the academic and technological development of The University of Ngaoundéré. The creation of these new departments aims to diversify and enrich the range of training programmes on offer, thereby enabling students to access advanced specialisations suited to the current needs of the labour market and the challenges of innovation.
These departments will also strengthen the University’s research and teaching capacities, thereby contributing to its national and international standing.
