Academic Excellence and Orientation Week at The University of Ngaoundéré

The HAMADJODA ADJOUDJI Lecture Hall of ESMV was the setting for the opening of the academic excellence and orientation week this Wednesday 24 April 2024. Chaired by the Rector’s representative, Professor VOUDWÉ BAKRÉO, also Secretary General of The University of Ngaoundéré, this ceremony brought together Directors and Heads of institutions, teachers, students and secondary school pupils. According to the Secretary General, this week forms part of the promotion of excellence in higher education. It aims to provide pupils and students with reliable and useful information for quality training. In addition, it aspires to transform society through entrepreneurship, to make theoretical teaching practical and to create employment opportunities.

The Head of the Research and Development Division at the DAAC, Professor WAM MANDENG, stressed that this is a meeting place for researchers, entrepreneurs, students and pupils. He announced that partner Orange Cameroun would award 20 scholarships to deserving students at the end of the week. In addition, distinguished teachers would receive letters of commendation.
