The Secretary General of The University of Ngaoundéré, Prof. VOUDWÉ BAKRÉO, representing the Rector of the said Institution, Prof. MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, presided over this ceremony.

In his opening address, he stressed the importance of Higher Education in shaping the future of Cameroon in general and of the Adamaoua region in particular. He noted The University of Ngaoundéré’s commitment to providing quality education and preparing students for success in the global workforce.

The open days showcased a series of activities, including the presentation of teaching programmes by members of the teaching staff, a guided tour of the University’s facilities, stands, and interactive workshops. Prospective students were informed about the University’s academic programmes, admission requirements and student support services.

The event also served as a platform highlighting the partners of The University of Ngaoundéré, in particular Orange Cameroun and Dolait, which are national industry leaders. These partnerships offer students valuable internship and employment opportunities, thereby helping to bridge the gap between the academic world and the professional world.

The orientation days and open days provided prospective students with essential information on university life in general, and on registration procedures, academic advice and student services in particular. Prospective school leavers also had the opportunity to meet students and members of the teaching staff.

According to the Secretary General of The University of Ngaoundéré, Prof. VOUDWÉ BAKRÉO, the orientation and open days constitute a valuable resource for prospective students and their families.
