1 min read

On Wednesday 26 June, a ceremony was held at The University of Ngaoundéré for the handover of electronic equipment provided by PADER, the GIZ rural development programme. This equipment was handed over to The University of Ngaoundéré under the partnership agreement linking the University and PADER. This agreement aims to improve the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in agro-pastoral activities in the northern region. The equipment will mainly be used by students of Sahelab, a coworking space and business idea accelerator set up by Dr Apollinaire Batoure, head of the Campus Numérique Francophone. The equipment will enable students to work practically on prototyping their ideas.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Dr Apollinaire Batoure, head of the Campus Numérique Francophone, Dr Paul Dayang, Director of the ICT Development Centre, Albert Apan, PADER branch head for Adamaoua, the private secretary Mr Chin Joseph Mbiydzela, representing Madam Rector of The University of Ngaoundéré for the occasion, and the students behind these projects.
