The 1 May 2024 will remain etched in the annals of The University of Ngaoundéré, as the Rector, Prof. MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI, fully committed himself alongside the staff of the institution he leads.
Support staff, represented by the National Union of Support Staff of the State Universities of Cameroon (SYNAPAUC), turned out in large numbers, thus demonstrating their commitment during the parade to celebrate the 138th edition of International Labour Day (JIT).
At the Place de l’Indépendance in Ngaoundéré, the JIT was marked by a traditional parade, chaired by the Governor of the Adamaoua Region, KILDADI TAGUIEKE BOUKAR.
Under the evocative theme « Constructive social dialogue, a factor in promoting decent work and social progress« , this edition of the JIT gave the university community of Ngaoundéré the opportunity to pay tribute to the Rector, Prof. MAMOUDOU ABDOULMOUMINI. He is praised for his attentive ear to the concerns of his colleagues, his receptiveness to innovative ideas, and his promptness in finding suitable solutions to the challenges encountered.
