COURTESY VISIT: ARMY OFFICERS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NGAOUNDÉRÉ

On 13 June 2023, 71 officers from the Yaoundé War College paid a courtesy visit to The University of Ngaoundéré, and specifically to the National School of Agro-Industrial Sciences (ENSAI). This delegation was particularly interested in the expertise offered by this leading professional training school, which is around 40 years old. The officers, coming from diverse backgrounds, notably from Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Gabon, etc., did not hesitate to familiarise themselves not only with ENSAI’s training offerings, but also with those of the 4 other major schools (IUT, ESMV, EGEM, EGCIM) and 5 faculty-level institutions (FALSH, FSJP, FSEG, FS, FSE). They also benefited from a guided tour of ENSAI, in the presence of Madam Rector of The University of Ngaoundéré, Prof. UPHIE CHINJE Florence. They learned about the production units for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (beer, juice, yoghurt), and sausage (made from beef, chicken and pork meat), to name but a few. The delegation from the Ministry of Defence left the Dang campus with a note of satisfaction.
