On 7 August 2024, The University of Ngaoundéré, under the leadership of Professor Mamoudou Abdoulmoumini, took a new step in its pursuit of academic and professional excellence by signing a framework partnership agreement with Afriland First Bank. This solemn signing took place in the presence of the representative of the Managing Director of Afriland First Bank, Mr Mboklem André, marking a key moment in the development of relations between the university institution and the financial sector.

Objectives of the Partnership

In his address, Professor Mamoudou Abdoulmoumini highlighted the main objectives of this agreement, which aim to strengthen collaboration between The University of Ngaoundéré and Afriland First Bank. The key points of this partnership include:

A Mutually Beneficial Collaboration

For his part, the representative of Afriland First Bank, Mr Mboklem André, promised to offer banking services specially tailored to the needs of the teaching staff and students of The University of Ngaoundéré. He also announced that the bank is committed to offering internships to students and recruiting the university’s best talent, thereby contributing to their integration into the labour market.

An Ongoing Partnership

This agreement with Afriland First Bank follows an initial step taken on 8 July 2024, when The University of Ngaoundéré signed a partnership agreement with CCA Bank. These collaborations demonstrate the university’s determination to open up further to the professional world and to strengthen ties between the academic sphere and the banking sector.

The signing of this agreement between The University of Ngaoundéré and Afriland First Bank marks a significant step forward in improving the services offered to students and teaching staff, while strengthening graduate employability.
